Easter Weekend

Happy Easter!

My brother and I went home to see my parents this Easter weekend.  As usual, the two days went by way too quickly!

We started today off with a big breakfast -fresh fruit, grits, eggs, cinnamon rolls, ham and cheese casserole, toast, and sausage.  YUM!

Then, off to church with my family.

Can you believe we were ready to eat again, three hours later?

Mom made homemade crab cakes, marinated chicken, twice baked potatoes, salad, yeast rolls, and an angel food cake (cooked with only a can of crushed pineapple) with cool whip & fresh strawberries!

Going in reverse here...

Yesterday, Brandon and I went to Hilton Head Island to watch the Heritage golf tournament.  Cameras are forbidden on the course, so I only managed to get ONE picture!

This post was meant to be short & sweet.
So, there it is.

Hope you all had a blessed Easter!
XO

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead ... 1 Peter 1:

  2. Yum, your Easter meals sound DELICIOUS! I had a nice weekend with family as well! Now I'm grueling over the last few pages of a paper that's due tomorrow (the nerve of a professor assigning a paper due the day after Easter!).
