New year ...new clothes

Happy 2012!
Hope you all had a great time ringing in the new year.  We opted for a laid back evening with my cousin, her boyfriend and some of their friends.  Cocktails & hors d'oeuvres at my place was first on the agenda.  Dinner at Rue de Jean, a restaurant with classic Brasserie cuisine, was amazing.  I highly recommend that restaurant to anyone visiting Charleston. That, paired with a champagne toast at midnight at Coast made for a great time!
The only photo I have to document the night is this one that Brandon took, while he was making fun of me for not being able to open the champagne bottle.

Earlier in the day, I spent NYE with some of my best friends.  We celebrated two birthdays and the new year at a mexican restaurant, then at Folly Beach to continue the fun at Blu.
The birthday girls...

Okay, what else is new?

Proud to sport two new Essie shades...

I'm craving spring/summer after visiting Banana Republic today.  They have an excellent collection in stores right now.  I'm loving the bright colors & classic styles.
Here are some of my favs:

This photo does this adorable blouse absolutely NO justice...

Plus, so many options for fun, bright jewelry!

I know where I will be loading up on warmer-season clothes!

Oh, my OOTD:
Brandon and I spent the day shopping at Towne Center, with a lunch break outside at Red's Icehouse.  It was a perfect day for being outside!

Happy 2012, loves!
Xo.

  1. Oh gosh, I am tempted to see what Banana Republic has for spring summer! I just finished paying off 3 credit cards and have 1 left before I'm completely done...so no shopping for me until then!

  6. LOVE the new clothes! Also, I've lived in Charleston my entire life, and I've never made it to Rue de Jean...maybe that should be my goal for 2012? :)
