beat the heat

images via pinterest, duh

Y'all.
It's hot.
It's actually cooler today than it has been, at least we're in the 90s and not in the 100s like it's been the past couple of weeks.  It makes me really happy to have a desk job.  Although I can't lie and say I'd rather be at a desk than at the beach with my chair at the water's edge.  I'd have a fresh squeezed lemonade in my hand, a big floppy hat on my head, and my new book, Southern Charm, in front of my nose.
How do you beat the heat?
