Weekend Recap

We had such a fun weekend.  I started it off by creating a little artwork and finally putting something in what I thought was going to be an eternally empty frame.

Sometimes something simple is all you need.

Brandon's parents came into town on Friday and we all went to dinner with his dad's side of the family.  On Saturday, we all hit the road to Columbia for the USC/UGA game.
I'm a Clemson fan, so I couldn't wear black or garnet.  Alas, I got yet another use out of my polka dot blouse.

Brandon's parents have an awesome tailgate spot.

We had to let our Clemson colors shine among all of that garnet!

We didn't get back from Columbia until almost 3am, which made for a low key Sunday.

We saw Pitch Perfect (awesome, awesome movie!).

Took a walk along the Battery.

And worked on our registry!  Maybe I'll feature some of our favorite items we registered for on a Wedding Wednesday post?

Happy Tuesday!

  7. I love the polka dot blouse. Most of all I am loving those Clemson cups at the Carolina game. That made me laugh out loud. I would definitely do that should I have to go to a USC game.

  14. It looks like a great weekend, and I love your polka dot shirt. I just commented on someone else's blog that talked about their registry and asked for favorite items, but you should check out the Breville Smart Oven. We got one for our wedding in July and it's such an amazing little invention. I have a full kitchen, but it's nice because it does everything! I love it. That's my favorite registry piece. That and a Le Creuset small casserole I've used 2-3 times a week since the wedding. It is perpetually out on the counter drying from being washed.
