Decision Time!

Brandon and I have been casually looking around at different king beds for when we get married.  We know that, eventually, we will purchase a complete bedroom suite with a wooden bed.  But for now, our sights are on a simple upholstered bed to mix with furniture we already own.

I'm slightly obsessed with Joss & Main.  Basically, I drool at the website everyday.  They have great upholstered beds at a pretty awesome price.  I've found a few on there that I think would work well.  Here's where you come in... I want your help!  We may end up waiting and not purchasing either of these, but I'm curious to know your preference.

Option #1:
Option #2:
Here are some inspiration photos.
(We will use all white bedding and have light walls.)

So what do you think ....option #1 or option #2?

  2. You should check out a Restoration Hardware outlet if they have one near Charleston! They have amazing deals and are having a great presidents weekend sale! I was in the TX one this past weekend and saw some similar styles to these! P.s. I vote option 2!

  5. Option #1! Also, if you have one, I've seen quite a bit of upholstered head boards in Marshall's HomeGoods lately. Very reasonably priced too!

  9. Tie breaker - definitely option 1! It's so sweet and feminine and the lighter gray will go with a bold room color or accents!

  10. Both are lovely!! I feel like the first one is more feminine and the second is a little more masculine. Either will be so beautiful with the bedding and light walls!

  11. I like option #2 since it is more simple, and like one of the commmentors said above, more masculine for Brandon. The first one reminds me a little too much of a couch but it is still beautiful! I like your ideas!

  12. Loving the elegance of option 1, it has great proportions! And with lighter walls it will make a statement!

  13. I love the Ella (Option 1). So sweet and would transition nicely into a guest room when you buy a complete bedroom suite. :)

  14. I like both, but if I had to choose, I'd pick option #2. Can't wait till we move into a new house and we can fit a king size bed in our room!

  20. I like option #2, although they both are really gorgeous. I'm in a mad search for a new bed with that same style.....just need to agree on something with the hubby. :)
