We recently upgraded our bedside lamps and I've got to say, I'm loving it. I had been searching for the perfect lamps since one of ours randomly stopped working right after our move. I stumbled upon these Robert Abbey Ceramic and Brass Lamps at Lamps Plus, a website for all things home decor, not just lighting. I turn to them for lighting in many rooms of our house. Their selection is huge and there's a price point for everyone. I think these new lamps are my new favorite in the whole house, though. The Robert Abbey design studio is in Hickory, North Carolina, which is one of the first things I noticed when picking these out! Big bonus point since I am a Carolina girl. And the natural brass base? Yeah, that was the second bonus point.
Aren't the up close images of these lamps gorgeous? They are so well made. The little blue and white dish was an antique store find. Makes a great coaster, but when I'm feeling fancy, it's perfect for my rings and Vahan bracelets.
That French Cat book is the cutest in the entire world. Then there's his side...
The framed print is one of Linda Donohue's paintings. Found those little feathers on Amazon and the clock at Pottery Barn.
I'm super excited about these lamps... plus, now we've crossed another thing off the list! (When will the list ever end, by the way?) They are big enough to suit our bed, bright enough to keep things crisp, but the warm creamy tone makes our nightstand space cozy. The quality is outstanding—by far the best gourd lamp I've been able to find. Highly recommend Lamps Plus, by the way. Their selection is amazing and the shipping was quicker than anticipated, despite the lamps being made-to-order.
