weekly roundup

Hi friends! I missed you yesterday, but it felt like a great Saturday morning to curl up on the couch with a cup of coffee and say hello. We went to dinner last night at O-Ku. I've mentioned a thousand times on this blog how much I recommend eating there if you're visiting Charleston and want a fun, tasty spot to have sushi. I always get the Shogun cocktail, which is a light, refreshing drink with a blend of basil, citrus, and a tiny hint of sweetness. We share the rock shrimp salad, which is like a bigger, better version of Bonefish's Bang Bang Shrimp. Then we get three rolls, the salmon & lemon roll, the kani crown roll, and the surf & turf. Y'all.

These eyeglasses make me wish I actually needed them to see.

Old Navy is killing it with the summer sandals. Like these and these, both for under $25. Plus take 30% off with code COOL until Monday the 13th.

All of these summer essentials are so good. You can take 20% off if you're a Bloomingdale's Loyalist (It's easy and free to sign up!).

This painting by Way Way Allen is a big favorite of mine.

I love when writers concentrate on the good happening in the news. Here are 8 great things that happened this week

Have you shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? I know roundups are literally everywhere, but it's for a good reason—the sale is awesome. I shared my picks from the early access the other day, which you can view here in case you missed that. I loooove these booties. And this tote is such a good dupe for the Madewell Transport Tote, especially because it's only about $30.

I would move into this precious home in a skinny minute.
