nursery inspiration for our baby

My vision for our baby's nursery is sweet but not baby-ish, masculine but not boyish, and simple but not too plain. There are a few key elements I've known I wanted to incorporate—artwork by way way allen, the bratt decor joy canopy crib, lots of texture, and a couple modern details. Since the crib is going to be the focal point of the room, I basically started there and built off of that. Here's what I have so far!

  1. I love it all !! I'm beyond excited for you to enjoy a baby boy !!!

  2. We have that ikea dresser in our nursery and it is great for both storage and the price. I changed out the handles to add a "custom" look.

  3. It's looking so fabulous!! I can't wait to see the finished product!!

  4. Love this! Where is the plant from?

    1. It's just something I found on Google Images! I photoshopped a random photo of a basket into it. :)

    2. Oh, but the type of plant is a Fiddle Leaf Fig.

  5. I need that poof! I am 20 weeks and planning our nursery too!!! I picked up a few sheepskin rugs for our changing table from ikea for $30/each. That way when he "ruins" one, we have backups. They have faux ones as well for much less ($13/each) but the quality is just so/so. SO FUN!

  6. gorgeous! i love the art you picked out. i really wish we had an IKEA in charleston! xo jillian - cornflake dreams

  7. I've seen really good deals on the poufs on Etsy as well...https://www.etsy.com/listing/188227041/pre-xmas-20-off-sale-brown-moroccan?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=leather%20pouf&ref=sr_gallery_8

  8. Lovely! I can't wait to see it all come together! Xo, Stephanie

  9. There are many who have this perception, that services of movers and packers in India are quite expensive. However, they forget to analyze the benefits of availing the services of these agencies. They don't bring into consideration the professionalism that these agencies show and the virtue of the superior quality of their service. These agencies have the necessary tools and equipments using which they can easily pack the furniture and all the necessary items in a most appropriate manner.
