celadon sunday flea + my picks

First off, how amazing is this piece of furniture? It would be the coolest bar setup or sideboard. Give me a white room and put this in it. I think I need it!

Pretty sure I've put it out there a hundred times how much I love shopping at Celadon. So many pieces from our house are from there—furniture and art, to pillows, kitchen hand towels, to even a few pieces in Watson's nursery. And there's a lot of ways to love this place—they have a website for online shopping, a retail store in Mount Pleasant, and a warehouse/outlet in North Charleston.

But the reason I'm talking about them today is because Celadon has started a new summer series that I've got to tell you about. It's the "Sunday Flea," which is happening each Sunday until June 26th at their outlet location with tons of local artisan vendors, food, jump castles, booze, live music, AND a whole warehouse full of furniture, decor, and other goodies.

I grabbed this photo off of their Facebook page showing one of the artisan stands at the first Sunday Flea. Pretty, pretty art pieces!

So here's the deal. I got to take a sneak peek at the warehouse on Tuesday and picked out a few of my absolute favorite pieces—a bamboo ladder, amazing rattan chairs, a distressed mirror (at a fantastic price!), the sideboard I gushed about at the beginning of this post, and a few extra goodies. They will all be at the flea this Sunday on Mother's Day! I think taking your mom with you to this event would be an afternoon well spent. Hint hint, Watson!

He got to check it all out, too.

But for those of you who aren't local to Charleston, I thought I'd pick out my favorites from the website. Because let's be serious, the website is allllmost just as good as being in the actual store. Well, it's the next best thing, I guess!

  3. Oh man, I'm going to be in Charleston one week too late to catch the flea! I would have loved to go, that thing is right up my alley! I'll definitely be checking out the store though!
