Well you guys, I had the best of intentions of getting this up yesterday, but #momlife. I fell asleep while working on this post on Sunday night. Just wanted to share what we were up to this weekend.
Dinner prep... I've been trying to cook now that the kitchen reno is finished. By the way, sharing the final reveal later this week, so check back! This rosé is so good. It's called La Promenade and is $10 at Trader Joe's. The sea salt blend is awesome too. I got it at the farmer's market and put it on everything.
This little babe helped me cook. Wrapped in his Solly.
We went to the Hootie & the Blowfish concert.
...and to the Celadon Outlet/Warehouse on Saturday morning.
Wore my new Daniel Wellington Dapper Durham watch. I love the worn in look of the leather band (it arrives a lot more worn looking than the picture online) and the blue hands. You can save 15% off any one of their watches with code HOLYCITYCHIC. Looks like they are currently doing free shipping and returns, too!
Pretty flowers spotted at Trader Joe's.
Had some treats at Gala Desserts. That's Bailey's Cheescake right there and it was heavenly. The coffee was kind of meh, so go there for champagne + sweets instead!
Ready for church on Sunday morning. Wore this striped skirt that was originally shown in this post. Started using my Lo & Sons as a diaper bag and can't decide if I like it more or less than my Tote Savvy. I promise to write about this one day soon!
After church we went out to Sullivan's Island for lunch at Poe's Tavern. Of all the years we've been in Charleston, this was our first time there! It's a must. I had the buffalo shrimp tacos and have been dreaming about them since.
Had to let Watson dip his toes in the water while we were there. He cried in the water at Folly Beach, cried at Edisto, cried at Surfside Beach, but officially loves Sullivan's! We're planning on going back this coming weekend.
He napped next to me on Sunday while Brandon and I watched Divergent. A little late in watching it. Not sure how I feel about that movie. But I did have these sweet snuggles...
