weekend

Good morning! I'm starting out my Monday just a little later than usual... trying to get my energy back after a fun weekend with friends in Augusta. We were there to see our friends tie the knot—finally! 11 years of dating and it was due time. The wedding was beautiful and the weather couldn't have been better. We even took Watson to a little bit of the wedding so he could see his daddy be the Best Man. :) Brandon's parents took him back to the hotel for us right before dinner so we could enjoy some time with friends and be baby free. Here are some pictures from the weekend. If you follow me on Snapchat (@meg.stokes) or Instagram, then you may have already seen a few of them. Loved Augusta. It was such a pretty place!

The view of the Savannah River from our hotel room.

On Sunday, we had brunch at the Boll Weevil.

The menu was right up my alley. This sandwich was called The Curious George. It had turkey and melted provolone, topped with spinach dip (!), all on freshly baked honey bread.

We explored Augusta a little before hitting the road. I thought this church was so beautiful.
