what i wore: cutout sleeves

I've always had a thing for a good cutout sleeve. In college, I had this black turtleneck top from Cache with cutout shoulders. I wore it an embarrassing amount because it was pretty much my favorite thing ever and it made me feel all fancy. So when I saw the Alison Andrews Cutout Sleeve Sweatshirt I'm wearing in these pictures, I knew I had to scoop it up because I've been missing a cutout sleeve top! And I love the casual vibe of this one.

Here's the link to the top. Did I mention it's under $60? Something told me to order a medium instead of my normal small—I'm really glad I did. It's the perfect top for keeping casual or dressing up. If I wanted to make it dinner-out appropriate, I'd pair it with some black leather pants or black waxed denim, booties with a bit of a heel, and a clutch. I really like keeping it casual though—it's so comfy.

Also love it with this blanket scarf I got in my fall FabFitFun box (get $10 off your first box with code HOLYCHIC).

This bag is the Gigi New York Olivia Shopper. It also comes in gray and tan (<--- need!). I've had it on repeat lately because it holds ever. y. thing. The shoes are Rag & Bone Sabine Loafers. I got them last year and they're on major sale here, but only one size left. These are really similar and here is this year's version of the loafer.

Also, I just discovered this denim brand I'm wearing. These are called the Hidden Skylar Capri Jeans and I love, love them. I'm about 5'7 and they fit right at my ankles as you can see—not like capris. Under $150 for really great quality denim is not too shabby. I love the frayed hem!

My necklaces. The long lariat is Kendra Scott—I got it in my Rocksbox (get a free month with code holycitychicxoxo). The middle one is Kate Spade and the shorter one is by Blanca Monros Gomez.
