life lately (home updates and our custom paint color)

Know how we redid our dining room? I went back in and added this console. Between that and Marquin's painting, it now feels complete! The console table is from here (shade "ash gray") and the lamp and basket were lucky scores at Homegoods a long time ago.

So many people have asked for the formula to the paint you see above, so here it is! We worked with Sherwin Williams to create this custom color, which we named Stokes White for a lack of originality, haha. We always use the Harmony formula because it has zero VOCs. You can get a better look at the paint color in this post. It's sort of a warm gray that is almost white.

Hope you all had happy halloweens! We had fun staying home handing out candy on our porch. I was that crazy lady who put her child in three costumes. Watson was a pumpkin, superman, and a lion (better picture here!)

A beautiful Sunday spent at Freshfields Village.

Did I ever mention that we painted our front room "stokes white?" too?

Charleston looking mighty fine.

Lunch at 167 Raw—this is what dreams are made of right here!

Brandon painted our back room. Remember when I was taking votes of what we should do with the beams? They are white (and so is everything else)! Can't wait to share.

Lots of time spent in Clemson lately! Here's a picture from Homecoming. I almost blend in with the float behind me.

  2. Megan this is so random but if you EVER want to sell that white Ballard Mirror, I will take it off your hands in a heartbeat! I love that mirror and have searched high and low on eBay, sale sites, etc. and of course they don't make it anymore. Just throwing it out there :)

    1. haha, will keep in mind, girl! Isn't that mirror the best? I seriously would have bought two had I known it was going to become such a hot commodity. At first, Watson was going to get this mirror in his room but then I thought, NAH! Will remember you if I ever decide to get rid of it. :)

  5. Haha, I was definitely one of those asking about the paint color so thank you so much for sending that to me the other day! We actually went to SW tonight to get a sample but since it is custom, you can only purchase in the full gallon so I think we are going to just tell our painter to get it and just pray it looks as good in our nursery as in yours! Watson looks so precious in all of his costumes!! xoxo
