playing with pattern

I tend to be more simplistic when it comes to my decor style. Our bed linens are all white. I only have natural sisal rugs in our home. Our walls are mostly bare and our towels are nothing but white. But more and more, I find myself gravitating towards color and pattern. I’ve learned that, when incorporated carefully, fun patterns can look just as clean and crisp as stark neutral palettes. Here are a few examples of how pattern can be used in simple ways…

I’m loving these little pops of pattern…

!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? ‘http’ : ‘https’;if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + ‘://’ + ‘widgets.rewardstyle.com’ + ‘/js/lookbook.js’;d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof(window.__lookbook) === ‘object’) if(d.readyState === ‘complete’) {window.__lookbook.init();}}(document, ‘script’, ‘lookbook-script’);
