currently loving: troubadour FW 2015

It’s no secret that Charleston—especially for being such a small city—is home to so many talented people. I love looking through big stores like Anthropologie or West Elm and seeing the work of Charleston locals! Lindsey Carter is no exception. She created the amazing clothing line, Troubadour, in 2010 and I’ve been following her work since. I’m tickled because I was just introduced to her fall/winter line and it is so good.

The prints. That’s what got me this time.

Makes sense. Lindsey’s inspiration for this collection came from the art world, and especially by Peggy Guggenheim after a trip to Venice. She also collaborated with Charleston artist Brian Coleman and used one of his cut-out paintings as the pattern for the black and white pieces in the collection.

You can read more about the Troubadour/Brian Coleman collab here. These photos are by Sully Sullivan, by the way. Aren’t they fun?

I just love this line and thought you might like it too.

Also, THANK YOU for all of your sweet comments about our gender reveal post yesterday. We are so excited of our baby boy and I appreciate all of your kind words more than you know! xoxo
