8 things to buy during the shopbop sale

So I know that when these big sales happen, it gets a little overwhelming. In this case, I’m talking about the Shopbop sale I talked about the other day (…and shared my top picks!). Because if you’re like me, you may feel like, “Ok, well now’s my time to stock up on some things I’ve been wanting/needing!” But then you just don’t know where to start. Today I’m going to share the top things I would recommend buying from the sale, because at the end of the day, even though getting 15-25% off is an awesome deal, things at Shopbop are still a bit of an investment at the end of the day. So it’s important to shop wisely!

Everything I’m talking about below is 15% – 25% off with code GOBIG17.

1. DENIM

I have so many favorites, but my ride-or-die favorites have been the 7 For All Mankind “The Skinny” Jeans for the longest time. Good jeans make the biggest difference. They make you feel thinner and are your trusty, “I know if I wear these, I’ll like what I’m wearing” jeans. I’m wearing them below at about 12 weeks pregant. By the way, if you’re pregnant, I recommend the J. Brand 3401 Mama J Super Skinny Maternity Jeans. I wore them my entire second and third trimesters.

2. THE PERFECT NUDE HEEL

Nude sandals (color of sandals will obviously need to vary based on your skin tone) will make your legs appear longer and will go with everything. I have on the Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong Sandals, but they are excluded from the sale. These are so similar and the price is way better, too. I have a few heels by that Schutz brand and they are really well made and comfortable.

3. SUNGLASSES

A 15% to 25% savings will make a big difference when you’re buying sunglasses from Shopbop. I get compliments on these Karen Walker The Number One Sunglasses every single time I wear them.

4. BLAZER

A black blazer will go with anything—jeans and a white tee, a dress, a black jumpsuit like how I’ve styled it below. Your closet needs one! The one I have on below is long gone, but I would choose this one if I needed another.

5. A VERSATILE DRESS

A dress I will spend good money on is a dress I could wear to a wedding, out to dinner, to work (maybe with a blazer over it), and to church. If it ticks all of those boxes, I consider it a worthy investment.

Enter, the Equipment Aubrey Dress.

Another great option is the Equipment Larkin Dress.

6. BASICS

A basic I love is the Current/Elliot Muscle Tee. You can tuck it into a skirt like I did below or wear it under basically any jacket. It’s longer, so makes for a great layering piece. So cute with denim shorts in the summer, too.

7. JEWELRY

Jewelry is something that can change the entire look of an outfit. I love this Jules Smith Americana Choker Necklace because it brings a little bit of “trend” to an otherwise simple outfit.

8. LEATHER TOTE

This Madewell Transport Tote has been one of my favorite bags ever. I just love it and it only gets better with age. Get yours on sale while you can!

If you want more inspiration, I shared my top picks from the sale the other day. And I have lots of Shopbop things mixed in on my spring wish list
