These pictures were so fun to take. Watson kept running up to that doorstep and looking in the mail slot, but Brandon and I were so afraid there were people sitting on the other side of the door! The homes in this historic downtown area are so beautiful—like works of art—and sometimes it’s easy to forget that people actually live there. oops!
It was time that we gear Watson up for the cold weather. Here in Charleston, it has been in the 40s in the mornings, but gets into the 70s in the afternoons, so layering is key. I thought this little sweater that Watson is wearing from Nordstrom was a great layering piece and it’s pretty unisex, so I’ll be able to save it for baby girl, too. I just love the little hood on the back—so, so cute. And I couldn’t resist the moccasins. They were the only shoes I put him in last winter before he could walk, but I was unsure how the soles would hold up now that he is sprinting at record pace. So far, so good. They seem pretty tough. Oh, and if you have a little girl, just take a look at these.
Also, I’ve got to mention… I ran into Nordstrom when Brandon and I were on our way home from Ponte Vedra the other weekend and found this dress. I’ve seen it online so many times and never really thought twice about it, but I absolutely loved it in the store. I sized up to the medium for the bump and it has been perfect! It’s only $46 and comes in a whole bunch of colors. (Nine!) And the obsession of these glasses continues…. details are below.
