7 current favorite skincare products

My skin started feeling super dry over the winter months, so I switched up a few skincare products and have been loving the results. (I guess keeping our fire going all winter was probably not the best for my skin, but it was so worth it.) The newer products I’ve been using over the past couple months have become instant favorites and I’m sure I’ll keep them in my rotation all year long. Then there are some old favorites I’ve continued using that I want to share with you too!

The first is my Beautycounter Cream Cleanser. The more cleansers I try, the more I realize how much I love this one. The smell, the consistency, the way it totally balances out my skin. I also love that it doesn’t dry my skin out at all, but it also does a good job of removing makeup.

I don’t mean this to be a skincare routine post, because there are a few other things I use in addition to these current favorites, but after I use the cleanser, I have been using the True Botanicals Cellular Repair Serum. It’s pricey—let’s just put that out there, but it seems to be worth every penny. It plumps up my skin like I haven’t seen it in a long time and helps to reverse aging. What’s super unique about this product is that, unlike other serums, it contains the tiniest molecular ingredients that are able to penetrate beyond the surface of the skin to repair and strengthen skin from the inside out.

The next True Botanicals product I’ve been obsessing over is their Pure Radiance Oil. It out performed La Mer in clinical trials, which is impressive. I love it because it’s incredibly moisturizing, but doesn’t feel oily on my skin, so I’m able to use it morning and night.

On top of that oil, I layer on the Beautycounter Facial Oil #1, which is known for it’s brightening power. It won an Allure Best of Beauty Award for 2017, so it’s no secret how amazing it is. I put it all over my face, neck, and chest. If using an oil terrifies you, you can always just mix in a few drops with your favorite moisturizer. I had oily skin and when I started using this facial oil, my skin became balanced!

This next one is an old favorite, but I’ve been loving it so much more lately with a newborn! Any depuffing I can get is more than welcomed and the Beautycounter Rejuvenating Eye Cream does just that and then some. It also diminishes the appearance of fine lines and dark circles—the wild algae and caffeine inside of it helps with that. I’ve used it for almost three years now and am still so in love with it.

The other little container I have pictured above is the Beautycounter Lip Conditioner. I have so many of these throughout the house and in my bag. It has rosemary oil inside that instantly soothes the lips and makes them look more plump. A little tip… when you get it, smoosh your finger into it to sort of break it up. I just personally find that it feels even more moisturizing after that.

Lastly, the True Botanicals Moisture Resurfacing Mask. It feels heavenly on the skin—light, but full of moisture. (You may have seen my insta-story where Watson got into mine and dumped it all on the floor. DEVASTATING!!) All it takes is five minutes, so I like to put it on in the mornings before I get ready for the day. It exfoliates the skin and then adds in moisture. It makes your skin glow immediately—and that’s a fact.

So happy to read this! I started inspecting all of my products about a month ago and it put me in a total panic!! I finally talked myself off the ledge and decided that I would search for better products as I ran out of stuff. I’ve been using Simple face wash for a few weeks and my skin is really looking better. I may just be imagining it, but I swear having less chemicals is making a difference. I’ll have to try some of these when I need to replace things.

Hi there! I’m your age, and have been thinking more and more about purchasing an anti-wrinkle cream. Do you have any recommendations? Or, do you only use the eye cream? Many thanks.
