what I’ve purchased so far for spring

Happy Spring! I can say that officially now—finally! Which is great because I’ve been posting “spring favorites” since oh, I don’t know… January?? Anyway, this is always my favorite time of year. It’s just the best time to be in Charleston. It’s cool and usually sunny. And the shopping is so fun… wearing light fabrics and brighter colors is such a nice treat after all the heavy winter layers. And I just get so happy whenever we pick out our spring plants. That’s the signal for me when I know the best part of the year is here.

I’ve done a little bit of shopping here and there—just trying to build up my spring/summer wardrobe since my closet is a little scarce these days. I took out a lot over this past year between being pregnant and just being over my current clothes. Today I’m sharing my favorite things I’ve picked out recently!

My Everlane order was a big hit. My absolute favorite thing from the order was the sweater I have on above. I’m wearing a small. I love that it has a relaxed fit and the fabric is so light and high quality. It doesn’t make me feel bulky like other sweaters do! I’m wearing it with some old H&M shorts that I found for $6 on the clearance rack, but these are very similar and under $20. These are similar, too! My shoes are Vince and from a previous season, but look how similar these are. My bag is Zara! (This one is pretty great too and under $20! Love this one, too.) My glasses are less than $60 and I definitely think you need them for spring. I’m obsessed… they keep selling out all over.

Also from my Everlane order is this very pale pink mockneck tee. It’s only $25 and comes in so many colors—and I want all of them. I have it paired with these wide leg utility pants in the photo above. And how great are these sandals? This is the bag I’m wearing, but this one is similar and a fraction of the price.

And remember when I posted about all my Shopbop favorites for spring? Once I tried everything on, this top I’m wearing above ended up being my favorite. It’s on sale here for 30% off! Oh and yep, wearing these sunglasses again and this Cuyana bag.

I added a new Persifor Winpenny dress to my closet (above). I wore one while on Harbour Island last spring and am thrilled to have another. Y’all, this is the dress every lady needs. I need to take a more flattering photo to really show you how great it is. Even Brandon even kept saying how much he loved it. The colors of her dresses are vibrant but the prints are never too busy. The fit is snug in the right places and loose where it counts, too. The fabric is incredibly high end and feels amazing—almost cooling. This is a dress you can wear to church or work or out with the girlfriends. It’s comfortable and comes in a bunch of different colorways. Have I sold you on it yet? haha! Shop all of the Winpenny dresses here.

This dress above is only $35! So easy to throw on for whatever occasion and I love the collar. The loafers I’m wearing sold out last spring, but these are incredibly similar. And here are the glasses I’m wearing.

See? Wearing that $25 Everlane Mockneck tee above and it’s just so casual/comfy! The scarf, which I’m really wearing as a wrap, has been asked about a ton—especially when I posted it here. I bought it in our local H&M store, but can’t find it online. This is it, but in slightly different colors. And this one has the same blue color to it! And y’all, look how gorgeous this scarf is for that same nude & blue effect! I’m wearing these glasses.

Also, I had just taken this dress out of the box when I threw it on in the picture above, but I’m going to steam it and shoot it for y’all soon! It’s probably going to be my Easter dress. Super easy and comfortable to wear, but I love the extra style it has with the little floral motifs and bell sleeves. Aaand y’all know I’m into any blue and white striped moment. I’ll wear it with these shoes.

What has your favorite purchase for spring been? I can’t lie, all this is great, but my most favorite things have been baby clothes!
