I keep a quiet bag for the kids. It’s mainly for church because it’s full of toys that make zero noise, but it’s also great for dinner or anywhere else that we need Watson and Rosie to keep quiet, but yet still be entertained. I keep it filled at all times and hanging by the door, so it’s easy to grab and go. Sometimes there are fewer things than this in the bag, but I tried to include everything that has been on rotation to share a greater scope with you guys.
My Quiet Book is a must! Each page has a different activity with snaps, buttons, shoe laces, colors and shapes, and more.
These drawing pads were the best $17 I’ve ever spent. Once your child has doodled, you can push the round button and the design disappears and they can start fresh!
Tiny books are great for little hands. I save them whenever we get one in a happy meal or in our Kiwi Co. boxes!
This buckle toy has been a favorite for both children. Rosie is on a kick with it right now… she loves it! She can buckle them all, but hasn’t yet been able to unbuckle them too.
Amazon sells a bag full of these jumbo nuts and bolts. Perfect for keeping busy hands entertained.
Of course, it’s nice to have a little matchbook car and a dinosaur (or whatever else Watson is into at the moment) in there as well.
Lastly, and not pictured in the very first photo but you can see above, are these blocks that are attached with a string. You can manipulate them into tons of different shapes, just click here and you’ll see. Watson spends hours playing with these! One moment it’s a sword, the next moment it’s his phone, the next moment it’s something totally different. These look great, too! I remember them from when I was a child.
