Happy Halloween! It’s a little dreary around here, but hopefully the rain will hold off for some fun trick-or-treating tonight. Watson and Rosie are the Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood… and Watson especially couldn’t be more excited about it. He has been asking us to show him youtube videos of wolves howling at the moon. Needless to say, he’s very into it! Rosie is always a toss up. One day she likes to wear shoes and the next day you can’t get them on her—that type of thing. So I’m hoping she’ll like wearing her costume! I don’t see why she wouldn’t, though, because I pieced it together from actual clothes vs. a costume that can sometimes be uncomfortable. I’ll share snaps on instagram, for sure!
Today I’m showing off a fall outfit I could live in forever—and it all happens to all be from Everlane. I partnered with them to show off any look I wanted…and I swear it took me hours and hours to pick out just one outfit on their site because there are so many good things right now. I had like 30 things in my cart and just couldn’t narrow it down, haha. My love for Everlane has run deep since I first found out about the brand about seven years ago. Such classics at amazing prices because they cut out the middle man. For example, the sweater I’m wearing in this post is 100% cashmere and while its traditional price would be about $290, Everlane sells it for $165. For this reason and for the pure fact that the clothes are really great and they are sustainably made, it has been a longtime go-to for me when it comes to capsule wardrobe pieces, like sweaters, jeans, coats, and even boots.
Speaking of boots, these are called the Day Boot and while I don’t exactly know why, I think it’s because you could wear these all day and your feet will still feel comfortable. Also, they are stylish enough to take you into night! I love that they don’t have a chunky “boot” look, but instead it’s more of classic style with a feminine touch. These are 100% Italian leather and would traditionally be about $460, but they are about half that on Everlane.
Happy Halloween, everyone! I’m hoping to spend later tonight watching Hocus Pocus and eating Almond Joys. Which, by the way, used to be my absolute least favorite candy and in recent years is one of my favorites. Who would have thought? I do love a Baby Ruth the most, though!
Thank you to Everlane for partnering on this post. All outfit choices are my own and everything written is genuine and as always, reflects my own beliefs and opinions. Clothing for this post was gifted.
